Right now I am working on an update for the Soviet situation, the Brotherhood.

As for American survivors, there are pocket groups that roam like nomads, but usually stick close to water and open ground. Otherwise they become prime flesh targets. There's at least a few thousand non-infected humans roaming the streets of Bensonhurst by day, and living in barricaded modified buildings at night. Others have gone to Jamaica Bay where I had hopped that a camp would have been set up by players when I started the game - unfortunately the players would rather fight it out in the deep city. That's fine by me.

Soviets of course have an advantage of a safe zone, and some large numbers. However I am considering their total obliteration by another faction known as the Brotherhood. What remains will be refugees to other areas, and all Soviet players will start with a lesser amount of goods than now. I will also be updating what you start with as a new player, and retroactively applying this to your characters. You will also now be joining groups - American, Soviet, Zombie, and Brotherhood are planned.

Any player made groups will of course also be allowed, but the main colors and classing will be permanent, as it identifies what you are.

I'm curious as to what the Brotherhood was, and I asked you on MSN about making a settlement of sorts on Jamaica Bay but you didn't respond.

I'm also curious as to the status of places like Fort Hamilton, which is in Brooklyn.
